Red Bull Air Race_Abu Dhabi 2009

Red Bull Air Race was held in Abu Dhabi this year. It was a 2 days event but we only see it life on the final day which was on the 18th of April.
Since this is our first time ever watching Red Bull Air Race life, we thought it was quite nice and we enjoyed it..
Hannes Arch, an Austrian who's flying for Team Abu Dhabi is the champion for this year's Red Bull Air Race.

Sultanate Of Oman

We went to Oman during the 2nd term school holiday. We actually drove down there, took us about 2 1/2 hours to get to the UAE and Oman border through Al Ain. And another 3 hours to get to the resort where we stayed.
Oman is just 'ok'.. and we might not go back there anymore.. Why you asked? Well, Oman is way too expensive ( the main reason ) and nothing's really that impressive to us.. ( compared to what we've seen here in the UAE ).
Riyal Oman is like 10 times more expensive compared to Dirhams and Malaysian Ringgit, so there you go!
But having said that, Omani are friendlier than the Emirati - much friendlier and guess what, Omani people work!! Unlike Emirati, they don't! - most of them anyway :)
But the sea water in Oman is almost crystal clear, and they've got hundreds if not millions of beautiful shells on the beach where you can collect them..
So diving is considered a good dive place in Oman, because of the clear water, might go back for that ;)

The Royal Wedding By Year 2 Students At Al Yasmina

This term, Year 2 in Al Yasmina's topic of learning is about 'Once Upon A Time'
that is why 'The Royal Wedding' between Cinderella & Prince Charming took place.
This is the first ever Al Yasmina organized a wedding at school. Year 2 students dressed beautifully for the event and they sang a few songs and an Arabic Dance was performed by some of Year 2 students.
