Yr.1 & Yr.2 Sports At Al Yasmina_25th.03.'09

These fun activites are done by Year 1 & Year 2 and was handled by Year 9 students at Al Yasmina School.. Points were collected during the activities and surprises will be given to the 4 highest points collected by the groups in the next assembly.. Jasmine was in Yellow-5 Group.
At least they did the sports in the morning when it wasn't too hot yet and water dispensers were all over the fields so no one would go thirsty..
Jasmine was exhausted by the end of the event but did enjoy herself doing all the fun activities given to them..

Jasmine's Castle & Bookmark

It is 'once upon a time' topic for Yr.2 students on their first half 2nd term and their school project is to make a fairytale castle, so Jasmine decided to make Rapunzel and her castle.
It might not be too clear to see, but if you see carefully, Rapunzel is at the balony with her blond hair down for her prince to climb upon..

The bookmark is for 'design a bookmark' competition in conjunction with The World Book Day. Jasmine came up with the 3D idea, that's how we got this butterfly & flower design.. I think it's cool.. What do you think?

Neil's Birthday_27th Feb '09

We celebrated Neil's birthday at home with some of our circle of close friends we have here in Abu Dhabi. We had smoked turkey which took 9hours to be ready! And the smoked potatoes took about 4hours to be cooked. Everyone enjoyed the food.. I wanna personally thank my friend Kay aka Kawan for preparing her specialty, salsa dipping sauce which was everyone's favourite and kuih sago. We all had a great time.. Happy Birthday babes...

Jasmine's 7th Birthday

These pictures were taken on Jasmine's actual birthday which is on the 2nd Feb 2009. We had a lil picnic in the park around the compound where we are staying..








Jasmine had her birthday party 2 weeks after her actual birthday at one of the play center in one of the malls here in Abu Dhabi called Al Raha Mall. Jasmine and all her friends had a ball at the party. They have been entertained by a funny clown who likes to kiss them with her huge lips whenever they did not listen to her insturctions..
