Dubai

Took some pictures mainly buildings in Dubai.. The tallest building in the world - Burj Dubai is still not finished yet and they are already planning to build another tower, heard about 2KM high!
Burj Al Arab aka The Sail is a luxurious hotel and is one of the most photographed building here in Dubai. You can't simply go in there unless you've got a reservation..
Next to Burj Dubai is The Dubai Mall, newly opened and is the biggest mall in the world.. I guess the Arabs want the best, the biggest, the highest etc.etc in their country.. Well they've got the money, what can I say.
They even bought EQ2 to be docked in one of their palms and to be used as a luxurious hotel.
They've got 3 palms so far, they've got the world and now the universe is in the making!!
We managed to go to the new hotel, Atlantis on Palm Jumeirah.. It was impressive! It was huge and it was beautiful! Have a look at the colourful sort of tree looking ornament in the lobby... it's one of the most beautiful things I've seen in a long time!

Fujeirah_1

Fujeirah is one of the states in the U.A.E. Neil is looking after the site there, so we took the opportunity to go there on one weekend with him. Fujeirah Rotana Beach & Spa was where we stayed, the hotel is superb, the facilities are fantastic and we enjoyed our short lil trip there.
I had my hair chopped in the salon and Neil and I went for a full body massage afterwards while the kids were in Flippers - the children's club in the hotel.
Had seafood din-din that night, food was awesome but pricey..
You should go to Fujeirah when you are in the U.A.E, the breathtaking scenery to and from Fujeirah is something you don't want to miss!
