Yr.1 & Yr.2 Sports At Al Yasmina_25th.03.'09

These fun activites are done by Year 1 & Year 2 and was handled by Year 9 students at Al Yasmina School.. Points were collected during the activities and surprises will be given to the 4 highest points collected by the groups in the next assembly.. Jasmine was in Yellow-5 Group.
At least they did the sports in the morning when it wasn't too hot yet and water dispensers were all over the fields so no one would go thirsty..
Jasmine was exhausted by the end of the event but did enjoy herself doing all the fun activities given to them..

Year 2 Olympics at Al Yasmina School_11th Feb '09

I described this as Fun In The Sun for all, especially for Year 2 students in Al Yasmina School, here in Abu Dhabi.
The Olympics is a conjunction with the topic 'Fighting Fit' for the school term.
They took part in various games and Jasmine was in Purple/Grapes Team and which they were the overall winner for the whole teams that participated. She was glad to have received a medal at the end of the Olympics. Well done Jasmine!

Jasmine started Year 2 on the 7th of Sept 2008, whilst Jack started his Foundation Stage 1 on the 11th of Sept. As usual, Jasmine was always thrilled about schools and even prepared 2 little gifts for her new teachers.
Jack was happy to go to the same school as Jasmine but cried when we left him in his class on his 1st day at school but later he came to accept that mum and dad are not supposed to be in school for him anymore and say goodbye happily when it's time to leave..
